The
launch of Optibiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI) new weight loss product line
shows the company is making strides in commercialising its technology,
so says Hybridan analyst Derren Nathan.
Optibiotix earlier this week announced plans to create a new majority owned joint venture with the Healthy Weight Loss Company. It followed a successful pilot launch of slimming products containing the AIM quoted company’s Slimbiome ingredients.
“Apparently internet sales during the trial were very good, they’ve got some retail partners signed up, there could be more in the pipeline, and they’ve bought into the Healthy Weight Loss Company.
“So this combines their scientifically validated combination of ingredients (slimbiome) which helps you feel fuller and also helps boost metabolism, and combines it with some very well known nutritionists with very good followings.”
Nathan talks though his valuation for the company - he sees it as £90.6mln or 106p per share - whilst also examining the group’s other products and what comes next.
