Raising
livestock give poor rural families in Afghanistan an opportunity to
earn a livelihood and become entrepreneurs. Through a microfinance
project, beneficiaries receive livestock, monthly financial assistance,
training on basic financial literacy and are introduced to appropriate
financial products and services.
