a statement released Friday by Ryan Lochte, the U.S. Olympic swimmer
“accepts responsibility” for his role in the “traumatic” incident that
happened over the weekend in Rio. Lochte apologized to his teammates and
Brazil for his actions. NBC’s Peter Alexander reports for TODAY from
