The
Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that Aaron Driver, a 24
year old suspect was shot and killed in an anti-terror operation south
of Toronto, according to the BBC. Driver, a Muslim convert, had been on
the authorities radar after being arrested last year for supporting the
Islamic State on twitter under an alias. He was not formally charged but
had to wear a GPS ankle bracelet and undergo religious counseling, as
reported by the CBC. The bracelet was removed in February of this year.
