A
British national accused of trafficking narcotics valued at over a half
a billion shillings will have to spend more time in police custody at
least for now after the high court denied him bail. Jack Alexander Wolf
Marrian who was earlier released on a 70 million shillings bond with two
Kenyan sureties of a similar amount will remain in custody pending the
hearing and determination of his case after the prosecution was granted a
stay order. His co-accused Francis Mwanthi was however released on a
cash bail of 30 million shillings with an alternative bond of 60 million
shillings.
