The
leader of the Boko Haram group is believed to be fatally wounded in an
air strike carried out by the Nigerian military in the country's
northeast, according to official sources.
Meanwhile, US Secretary
of State John Kerry told President Muhammadu Buhari that the US is
looking at ways to increase its military cooperation in order to help
the African nation defeat the armed group.
