Japan
is rolling out more economic stimulus. The Cabinet of Prime Minister
Shinzo Abe approved the $274 billion stimulus as it tries to shake the
nation's economy back to life. By total size, the stimulus package ranks
among Japan's biggest since the global financial crisis. The program
includes money for infrastructure projects and cash handouts to low
income people. The yen jumped to a 3 week high. Aetna this morning
reported 2nd quarter profit of $791 million. On a per-share basis, the
Connecticut based insurer said it had profit of $2.23, adjusted for one
time gains and costs were $2.21. The results surpassed Wall Street
expectations. Another billionaire has come out in support of Democratic
presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Warren Buffett campaigned with her
in his home state of Nebraska. In a speech, he challenged Republican
nominee Donald Trump to reveal his tax returns. Clinton has also gotten
support from billionaires Mark Cuban and Michael Bloomberg.
