Executive
chairman at Sunrise Resources Plc (LON:SRES) Patrick Cheetham tells
Proactive about what he sees as the benefit of industrial minerals
projects.
It comes after the group reported positive progress on its Pozz Ash natural pozzolan project in Nevada and revealed evaluation work was now in progress at the County Line diatomite project leased to EP Minerals.
"We see Industrial minerals as providing a quicker route to cash flow. Generally they have a lower risk in resource definition and fewer permitting hurdles," he tells Proactive's Juliet Mann.
Elsewhere at the Bay State silver project, also in Nevada, Cheetham says drilling is on track to start around the end of this month (August) to test the southern extension after high grades were found in the north last year.
It is also in the market to potentially acquire more projects as mining markets improve, which the firm would potentially try and partner as the industry picks up again.
