The UN Security Council has held a meeting to discuss a report on the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
The
UN and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons found
that both the Syrian government and the Islamic State of Iraq and the
Levant (ISIL) group used toxic gases in 2014 and 2015.
Human Rights Watch, the advocacy group, has urged the UN to impose sanctions on the Syrian government.
