Mascolo, chief executive at IronRidge Resources (LON:IRR) talks to
Proactive Investors about the acquisition of a lithium deposit in Ghana.
"The potential of the deposit starts at a 1.5Mt resource at 1.6% lithium, with lots of blue sky upside potential," he says. "We stumbled across this about 4-5 months ago and it was just too good to let pass," he adds.
In term of the company's overall strategy, Mascolo says that the company is still looking at iron ore, but also other minerals such as lithium and gold to seize opportunities.
