B-1B 한반도 전개..대북 경고
A
U.S. strategic bomber is due to flyover South Korea this morning... as a
show of force against North Korea following its fifth nuclear test last
Friday.
Officials say the supersonic B-1B bomber, which left
Anderson Air Base in Guam earlier today, will be escorted by South
Korean F-15K and U.S. F-16 fighter jets as it flies over Osan Air Base,
south of Seoul.
It's hoped the flyover will make North Korea think twice about carried out any further provocations.
The B-1B was originally scheduled to come on Monday but was postponed due to poor weather conditions in Guam.
