couldn't wait to restart the bombing. Syrian government forces ignored
US-Russia truce talks and hit rebel positions near Aleppo, including an
aid convoy and a Red Crescent warehouse. This ceasefire brought a lull
in fighting, but also the US-led coalition's mistaken bombing of Assad
forces. Are attempts to revive the ceasefire a pipe dream and after an
Obama presidency that included deals with Cuba and Iran, will this UN
week mark the end of an era?
