Ukraine's
President Petro Poroshenko called upon the world community not to
recognize the parliamentary elections in Russia, because the Kremlin
tries to conduct voting in annexed Crimea as well.
The Head of
State claimed that during the meeting with ambassadors from G7 and the
EU. Poroshenko also called the imposed economic sanctions sufficient for
now, being prolonged until the occupied territories are returned to
Ukraine.
The President emphasized the issue of Ukrainian
prisoners, which are illegally imprisoned by Russia, is still on the
agenda and they must be freed as soon as possible.
