During
the first day of new ceasefire in Donbas, which Russian proxies
guaranteed they would adhere to on September 15, they launched 30
attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This number is
reported by the ATO Headquarters press centre.
The situation
became very tense in the Donetsk and Mariupol areas. Militants launched
12 and 16 fire raids, using mortars of 120 and 82 mm caliber
respectively.
Two ceasefire violations were also recorded in
Luhansk region. The militants attacked the village of Novooleksandrivka
(65km west of Luhansk), using small arms.
Ukrainian soldiers did not return fire in response, ATO HQ states.
