International aid organisations are concerned for the safety of more than 100,000 ethnic Rohingya Muslims in northern Myanmar.
Rakhine state has been under military lockdown since nine policemen were killed in an attack almost two weeks ago.
But it is not just the Rohingya who are worried about violence.
Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen reports from the state capital Sittwe.
