The Indonesian capital Jakarta is on high secure alert before a mass demonstration on Friday.
That's after the city’s governor was accused of insulting the Quran.
Basuki
Tjahaja Purnama, known as Ahok, is the first ethnic Chinese and
Christian governing the capital in the majority Muslim Indonesia.
He’s
popular, and is running for re-election in February, but his ethnic
background and religion have been a source of controversy.
Al Jazeera’s Step Vaessen reports from Jakarta.
