It’s
been called the referendum that could lead to the death of the euro.
Voters in Italy will go to the polls on December 4 to cast their ballot
on a major overhaul of the country's constitution. The markets are
watching with concern: a “no” vote would be seen as a boost to anti-EU
parties. Why is that? How significant are the reforms promoted by Prime
Minister Matteo Renzi? Is this really a vote about the economy?
