A
first contribution from recent acquisition Comms UK helped telecoms
services group Adept Telecom PLC (LON:ADT) lift interim profits by a
quarter. Revenue in the six months to September rose 19% to £16.5mln,
while underlying profits [EBITDA] were 20% ahead at £3.5mln.
Finance Director John Swaite tells Proactive: ''12% of the 19% increase in revenue was driven by an acquisition which we did earlier in the year ... and Comms Group has traded almost exactly in line with our expectations set at the time we did the acquisition''.
''It's been a brilliant 6 months ... everything's delivered as expected if not slightly better and we're very confident looking forward'', Swaite added.
