Our top story this afternoon...
Our top story this afternoon...
With all the pre-trial hearings out of the way,... the impeachment trial against President Park Geun-hye officially gets underway in a couple of hours from now.
The president, however,... will not appear in court - meaning the first hearing will likely be short and sweet.

With all nine justices on the full bench,... the Constitutional Court will hold its first hearing into the National Assembly's impeachment motion against President Park Geun-hye on Tuesday.
Ahead of the trial, the justices have been holding daily meetings, assessing arguments and looking into grounds for impeachment.
But as President Park is not expected to appear for the hearing set for two p.m. this afternoon.,... it may wrap up relatively quickly.
The law stipulates to set the next hearing date... and that hearings can proceed with just the representing lawyers... if the principal of the trial does not show up.
The real pleading is expected to begin at the following sessions, set for Thursday and next Tuesday, when key figures linked to the power abuse scandal - like Choi Soon-sil, the woman at the heart of the scandal,... and the president's personal secretaries - will be summoned as witnesses.
Hearing dates and witnesses were set during the three preliminary hearings held in December.
The Constitutional Court has vowed to make a fair and prompt decision for the people.
President Park, in a plea to the public,... held a surprise press gathering on Sunday,... with the opposition parties criticizing the move as inappropriate.
