Rainer
Höss was born in Germany in the 1960s. At the age of 12, he made a
shocking discovery: his own grandfather was not just a high-ranking
member of the Nazi SS, he was also the longest-serving commander of the
Auschwitz concentration camp, Rudolf Höss. Rainer Höss has made it his
personal mission to reveal the true story and to speak out about what he
sees as the ever-present danger of a resurgence of far-right ideology.
He shares his thoughts about the rise of populism in Europe.
