Russian
political activist, Iidar Dadin, who was freed from a jail in Siberia
on Sunday, has been describing the torture he says he endured in
detention. Mr Dadin, an outspoken critic of President Vladimir Putin,
was the first person to be jailed under a new law curbing the right to
protest. Russia’s Supreme Court ruled last week that he should be freed
and the case against him dismissed.
