spoke at Berlin's ITB to Anvar Sharapov, Chairman at the Uzbek State
Committee for Tourism Development about how his country seeks to improve
the connectivity inside the country but also in the wider Central Asian
region.
"We have high respect for our neighbors, they are our
brothers. We are planning on common projects together with them with
regard to domestic but also to international tourism. It is important to
say that in order to improve the conditions for tourism in our region,
we actually bought trains from Spain to provide better infrastructure.
We also invested in airplanes, such as the Dreamliner, to also make air
travel between our countries more comfortable and faster."
