UN warns of mass starvation across Horn of Africa
The UN's refugee agency, UNHCR, is warning of mass deaths from starvation across the Horn of Africa, Nigeria and Yemen.
The agency is raising the alarm due to a severe funding shortfall that they say will lead to an unavoidable humanitarian crisis.
Adrian Edwards, spokesman for the UNHCR, spoke to Al Jazeera from Geneva.
