Former human rights lawyer Moon Jae-In has won a landslide victory in South Korea's presidential election, ushering in an era of change after a devastating corruption scandal that brought down the previous president. Moon, of the Democratic Party, favours some form of dialogue with the regime in Pyongyang. He had also criticised the sudden deployment of the US missile defence system THAAD to South Korea earlier this month. Our correspondents report.
