The
Islamic State group is losing ground in Syria and Iraq, but as recent
events in the UK and France have shown, its appeal to some young Muslims
hasn't gone away. The terrorist group's propaganda is still leading
individual French or British citizens to commit - or to attempt to
commit - atrocities in their home countries. Our guest, Myriam Benraad,
argues that the best way to counter the IS group is to deconstruct its
language and assumptions. She has just written a book on the subject.
