Despite
being an oil-rich country, Venezuela is facing record levels of child
malnutrition as it experiences severe shortages of food and an inflation
rate of over 700%.
The Venezuelan Health Ministry says child mortality has also jumped 30% in the last year. The BBC’s Vladimir Hernandez met some of the families struggling to cope.
