For 50 years this Brazilian geneticist, founder of the Human Genome Center in Sao Paulo, has been tracking rare genetic disorders that destroy muscles. She and her team have helped close to 16,000 families and have identified the genes responsible for several diseases. FRANCE 24 takes you to meet Mayana Zatz.
