In

have turned their back on recent efforts to move forward with a
hard-fought peace deal. And the unrest in CAR is inspiration to one
cartoonist who tries to use his art to encourage those around him to
push for an end to conflict.
Several police officers are killed in a seven-hour gunfight with Al Shabaab militants along Kenya’s border with Somalia. It’s the latest attack by the extremists in the run-up to next month’s general elections.
Also, we take a look at the Central African Republic city of Bria, which after a recent flare-up of violence is being run by militia groups who have turned their back on recent efforts to move forward with a hard-fought peace deal.
