The economy added 222,000 jobs in June, topping estimates of 170,000, putting the Federal Reserve on track for another rate hike this year.

That's the assessment from John Lonski, chief capital markets economist at Moody's Analytics.

The unemployment rate ticked higher to 4.4% in June, compared to 4.3% in May.
