Pundits are fond of telling those planning for retirement to save more
to support a satisfactory and sustainable standard of living in
retirement. But a new paper is challenging that advice.
Those saving for retirement would be better off working longer than
bumping up their savings rate by one percentage point, according to the
authors of The Power of Working Longer.
