Last week the Pentagon banned the sale of Huawei phones on U.S. military
bases. The concern is that the Chinese telecom firm poses a risk to
national security. In Canada Huawei is a popular brand but has never
been linked to any wrongdoing. CBC’s Wendy Mesley speaks to former CSIS
director Ward Elcock about why he believes Huawei needs to be looked at
carefully.
