Health Canada has recalled more medications that contain valsartan, a drug used in treating high blood pressure to help prevent heart attacks and stroke. The affected valsartan was manufactured by Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceuticals in China and may contain an impurity called NDMA (N-nitrosodimethylamine).
