"After 17 wonderful years in this amazing sport, it's time for me to make a change and move on." These are the words of the Spanish two-time world champion Fernando Alonso today, as he announced he will not be racing in Formula 1 next season.
Our F1 experts Edd Straw and Scott Mitchell discuss this latest news bombshell with Andrew Van de Burgt and what it means for the sport. Alonso was so often the right man at the wrong place at the wrong time, but he still leaves an impressive legacy and will be hugely missed.
