Russian anti-corruption journalist Ivan Golunov was hospitalized today
after allegedly being beaten after his arrest Thursday in Moscow. Get
the latest details in our LIVE COVERAGE.
Golunov, who is well-known for his stories detailing corruption in
Russia, was arrested June 6 and charged with attempted drug-dealing, a
charge that colleagues and many others in Russia believe is trumped-up.
Numerous protests have taken place against the arrest.
Golunov now
possibly faces 10 to 20 years in prison. Earlier today Golunov was
hospitalized after claiming he was beaten in custody (multiple doctors
say he has injuries), and he has now been brought to court to face
charges. In this interactive live stream, host Steve Lookner brings you
the latest updates on arrested Russian reporter Ivan Golunov, and he'll
also read your comments and questions on the air!
