๐ฃWhy walk 500 miles (800km) on the Camino de Santiago?
I began a 33-day foot journey in September 2019 across Spain to answer that question. What began as a curious case for adventure ended with a newfound appreciation for life through moments of deep reflection and connection.
What started out as a solo trip ended with a new Camino family and friends from around the world.
Starting in St. Jean Pied de Port and ending in Santiago de Compostela, the Camino Frances (French Way) is a journey that takes you over the Pyrenees through the rustic Spanish countryside and into the cities while consuming a lifetime's quantity of coffee, Spanish bread, and red wine. But more than anything...it is a journey of personal discovery, human connection, and community.
Here is that journey of adventure, community, and connection. Enjoy and buen camino.
