Romain Grosjean will step back into a Formula 1 car for the first time since his Bahrain fireball accident when he gets a chance to demo a 2019 Mercedes at the French Grand Prix, and then spend a full day testing it in the days after the race. It's a great gesture from Mercedes, but given Grosjean never raced for the team in F1, why has the world champion team been the one to step up to offer Grosjean this special chance?
