Soldiers have detained Guinea's President Alpha Conde in a coup.
On national television, coup leader Mamady Doumbouya the head of the country’s special forces says the borders are closed and the constitution dissolved.
The United Nations and the West African economic bloc, ECOWAS have condemned the military takeover.
Conde won a third presidential term in a widely disputed election last October. Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque report
