It's not the sort of news Ukrainian officials wanted to hear. The last bridge linking the eastern city of Severodonetsk with Ukrainian-controlled territory to the west has been destroyed.
This comes as bloody street battles continue in the besieged city, with scores of civilians remaining stranded under unrelenting bombardment. This is all happening as French President Emmanuel Macron is visiting neighbouring Romania and then Moldova. We ask our panel what his trip means.
