Premier African Minerals’ (PREM) Zulu lithium project has the potential to join the list of top lithium developments in the world, according to chief executive George Roach.

A new drill programme has been launched for the project, and the company has revealed that deal maker and lithium aficionado David Lenigas is a now consultant as it mulls a possible spin-out of Zulu into a new company.

The aims of drilling will be to confirm lithium at depth and armed with more understanding of the deposit to establish resource estimates for the project.

“The size and magnitude of this thing, we believe, has the potential to put this project and Premier [African Minerals] right into the mainstream of lithium developers on a world scale.

“This has the potential to be a very substantial deposit.”
