Thousands
of opposition supporters are expected to descend on Caracas for rallies
against Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro on Thursday.
The protesters want to renew demands for a recall referendum by the end of the year to oust Maduro and trigger new elections.
Meanwhile, rival protests are also expected by the president’s supporters.
Many fear a return of the violence from 2014 when 43 people died.
