Government efforts to curb rising property prices in one of China’s biggest cities have had an unforeseen result, a surge in the divorce rate. 

The new measures were imposed to limit the number of properties married couples can own.
But as Al Jazeera's Adrian Brown reports from Nanjing, people have found ways to bypass the system.
