Someone told me just yesterday that she had gotten a call from "Apple Support" (spoofed caller ID) and they made her log into a remote session web site (URL contained the word "apple.com", but of course fake), she figured it out when they asked her to do a "test purchase" on Amazon.com.. she pulled the plug in that moment, and cancelled all her credit cards (I guess they were linked to her amazon.com account)
