Afghanistan’s industries are being squeezed as banking restrictions and frozen assets translate to nearly non-existent cash flow.
As a result, construction equipment is sitting idle and workers are staying home. Some multinational companies are trying to keep their employees working and production going but staying afloat during an economic crunch is not easy.
