British spatial data company ShadowBreak Intl has acquired a “few hundred hours and a few hundred files” of radio communication from Russian troops on the ground in Ukraine, according to its founder Samuel Cardillo.
“In 2022 you will imagine that the Russian army has equipment and encrypted communication because it’s the standard for a modern army,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“We’ve heard them talking about what they’re going to do after they wake up, we’ve heard them having jokes, we’ve heard them crying during fights … we’ve heard an entire range of things.
“When we take everything together - both the radio communication and the satellite imagery that we’re gathering – we’re seeing not great advancement from the Russian troops, clearly they’re having a lot of issues.”

GENEVA — The United Nations human rights office said on Tuesday that it had verified 1,335 civilian casualties in Ukraine, including 474 killed and 861 injured, since Russia’s invasion began on Feb. 24.
But the civilian toll was incomplete pending corroboration of reports, it said in a statement: “This concerns, for example, the towns of Volnovakha, Mariupol, Izium where there are allegations of hundreds of civilian casualties.”
Had a substantive conversation with @POTUS. Gave him the assessment of the situation on the battlefield, informed about the crimes of Russia against the civilian population. We agreed on further steps to support the defense of Ukraine and increase sanctions against Russia.

Kazakhstan is sending 82 tons of medical supplies to Ukraine. One of the closest Russian allies sending supplies to Ukraine. More than supplies, a very clear signal Kazakhstan is not on board with what Moscow is doing. Big deal and massive thank you.
