The
Bank of England holds a policy meeting on Thursday, but the BOE doesn't
have a lot of room to maneuver on interest rates right now, according
to Antonia Oprita, senior editor at Real Money. Oprita believes the bank
is unable to lower rates further because inflation is starting to rise.
Also next week, preliminary GDP numbers for the Eurozone will be
released and Oprita says some of the EU countries have been reported
strong data ahead of that report.
