The
Royal Bank of Scotland has denied deliberately caused struggling
businesses to fail, but has acknowledged it let some small business
customers down in the past. Speaking to Andy Verity in a BBC Newsnight
interview, the chief conduct and regulatory affairs officer for RBS Jon
Pain said: "I've seen no evidence... that point to GRG artificially
distressing viable business. It simply isn't true." Here's the full
