Nesselson critiques this week’s release around the theme "a story
within a story". Tom Ford wrote, directed and produced his second film,
"Nocturnal Animals", about a woman whose ex-husband writes a book about
their past, turning her life upside down.
"Neruda" is a loose biography spanning a few years in the life of Chile’s prominent poet Pablo Neruda, as he evades the gaze of the police.
Our last newest release is about the birth of McDonald’s. "The Founder" tells the story of the man who stole the McDonald brothers’ idea and turned the fast food restaurant into a chain present around the world.
Finally, Lisa reviews "To Live and Die in L.A.", the 1985 blockbuster that’s been re-mastered for our viewing pleasure.
