Wilkerson, who was chief of staff to Colin Powell when he was Secretary
of State in the George W. Bush administration, blasts Donald Trump's
hints that he intends to bring back torture and secret detention sites.
Wilkerson, who investigated the secret detention and torture network set
up by the Bush administration, says torture is morally wrong, useless
for intelligence purposes and tarnishes America’s image.
He says he expects a strong pushback from Democrats but also Republicans on this issue and that if Trump insists, he would find himself on a collision course with his Defense Secretary James Mattis.

Wilkerson also stresses his concerns over a clash between the US and China over Taiwan if the Trump administration abandons the "one China" policy.
