There is a manufacturer of traditional alcoholic beverages which have become popular among people all around the world. Since its establishment in 1925, Hoegok Brewery Agriculture has been passed down as a family business over three generations. It has produced makgeolli, a traditional alcoholic beverage that is made with 100% Korean rice. It has produced makgeolli by keeping the original taste and modernizing the manufacturing facilities. And after going through the long fermentation period at a low temperature, makgeolli can have a clean taste without bad smells or hangovers. The company has developed Yemi-ju, which is made with white pearl rice produced based on the agreement with Andong Nonghyup, and Gobaek-ju.
