Kyiv says it has destroyed an arms depot as part of a barrage of rockets and missiles on Russian military targets in the Kherson region in southern Ukraine. Ukrainian military officials say the strikes destroyed artillery, armoured vehicles and a warehouse with ammunition.

Mr. Zalmayev cites credible Western intelligence sources, explaining that Russia's military, including their high command, "does not have the heart in this fight" and they are growing more desperate by the day.
